Broken Simmy is the journey of a female musician in the 1980’s who sets out to change mainstream rock, believing her alternative style to be the future. Incendiary, resentful, this precocious eighteen year-old manifests a tortured style resulting from an abusive childhood. Amidst this attempt at musical insurgency, she finds herself being immersed into the hedonistic world of rock ‘n roll excess, pushing her to become even more detached.
